About you…
Essential Criteria
- 3-5 years of MLOps or Machine Learning engineering consultancy experience (PhD + 3 years, Masters + 4 years, or Grad + 5 years, ideally in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or other STEM fields).
- 2+ years of client-facing experience.
- Proven track record of delivering at least one machine learning project into production.
- Experience in supporting and enhancing existing microservices-based ML solutions
and codebases. - Familiarity with designing and implementing ML workflows that integrate seamlessly with AWS best practices and architecture.
- Experience with AWS Textract and optimizing its use for effective data extraction.
- Practical experience moving ML models from proof of concept (PoC) to production.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms or hyperscalers.
- Understanding of Generative AI solutions and their implementation in hybrid
architectures. - Exposure to data engineering technologies such as Snowflake or Databricks, particularly in the context of ML workflows.
Technologies
- Proficiency in using AWS services, particularly SageMaker, Lamdas, SQS and Step Functions, to deploy and manage machine learning models, especially in Serverless architectures.
- Strong knowledge of SageMaker Augmented AI and Ground Truth, leveraging its outputs to improve ML models.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for machine learning, including version control and model deployment.
- Experience with monitoring and maintaining ML models in production to ensure performance and reliability.
- Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and the intricacies of working with different data types (structured, semi-structured, unstructured).

- Design and implement machine learning workflows adhering to AWS best practices and architecture.
- Deploy and maintain ML models in production using AWS SageMaker, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions within serverless architectures.
- Optimize the use of AWS Textract for efficient data extraction and model enhancement.
- Implement CI/CD practices for machine learning, including model versioning and automated deployments.
- Monitor and maintain production ML models to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
- Conduct data preprocessing and feature engineering on structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and solution architects to align project requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Present MLOps strategies and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advocate for best practices in ML development and deployment across teams.
